We have been providing consulting and programing services in the healthcare industry for 16 years.  Our staff is extremely knowledgable in both provider and payor arenas having developed many custom applications for both as well as implementing and providing management consulting. 

Two areas in Healthcare that have been receiving a lot of attention over the past year are CRM in healthcare and Meaningful Use consulting for physician offices. 

CRM in Healthcare

Meaningful Use

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) authorizes the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide reimbursement incentives for eligible professionals and hospitals that meet meaningful use criteria along the road to becoming "meaningful users" of certified electronic health record (EHR) technology. This includes using an EHR for functions that both improve and demonstrate the quality of care, such as e-prescribing, electronic exchange of health information, and submission of quality measures to CMS.  Meaningful Use is using certified Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Meaningful Use is using certified EHR technology to:

• Improve quality, safety, efficiency, and reduce health disparities
• Improve care coordination
• Improve population and public health
• Maintain privacy and security


Meaningful Use is mandated in law to receive incentives.  WRS can assist a practice meet the requirements for meaningful use and thus receive the mandated incentives.  There are several benefits in partnering with Western Reserve Systems, Inc. to assist with picking an EHR and meeting the meaningful use criteria.  Our consultants have successfully assisted over 30 practices through the implementation and attestation process.  In addition, our consultants are currently assisting over a 100 doctors to meet the meaningful use criteria.  If you already have an EHR, WRS can still assist with meeting the meaningful use criteria and attestation.
